McDonald Baas & Livingston, PLLC (MBL) is pleased to announce that Wayne Circuit Court recently granted a motion for summary disposition in favor of MBL’s insurance client, dismissing approximately $100,000 in medical claims related to Trigger Point Impedance Imaging (TPII).
MBL Senior Attorney James Flynn argued that TPII is not compensable under the No-Fault Act, as there is insufficient proof of medical efficacy, thus rendering it neither reasonable nor necessary. Following oral argument, the judge agreed, dismissing $102,000 of bills.
