Marc McDonald is an experienced trial lawyer with over 45 jury trial victories. For the past 15+ years, his practice has been primarily insurance defense litigation focusing on first- and third-party auto, premises, general civil defense, and property damage matters.
He has defended suits on behalf of national insurance carriers, including Auto Owners, Pioneer Insurance Company, Grange Insurance Company, Farm Bureau Insurance Company, Allstate Insurance Company, Esurance Insurance Company, Acuity Insurance Company, Secura Insurance Company, and Wolverine Insurance Company. He has saved millions of dollars for clients in his successful jury verdicts. Marc is continually ranked as one of the top trial lawyers in Michigan.
Most recently, he obtained a no-cause verdict with over $500,000 in submitted medical bills for a national insurer in Macomb County Circuit Court.
In 2020, he obtained a no-cause verdict after the jury found fraud against a medical provider.
Marc frequently presents at various seminars throughout the state and to several national insurance carriers on defending against alleged fraudulent medical providers. In 2020, he and the firm’s insurance defense team presented on this topic at the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association.
