MBL is proud to announce a second significant trial result achieved within two weeks by Co-Managing Partner Marc McDonald and Partner Jillian Peterson following three days of trial in a high-exposure First-Party auto case involving extensive alleged injuries and six surgeries.

The matter presented substantial exposure, with Plaintiff advancing significant claims for past and future No-Fault benefits arising out of an automobile accident. After three days of contested trial proceedings, the parties reached a settlement for less than 25% of Plaintiff’s pretrial demand, with a complete waiver of future claims for MBL’s insurance company client.

The result reflects MBL’s continued commitment to aggressive litigation strategy. MBL continues to defend insurers and self-insured entities throughout Michigan in complex First-Party, fraud, SIU, and catastrophic injury litigation.
