Today we’re proud to celebrate one of our law clerks Ahmed Alawamleh who competed this weekend with his Michigan State University College of Law team in the National TYLA Trial Competition, Region 7 round at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland—a premier mock trial competition among U.S. law school programs. His team – made up of 2L students – missed advancing to Finals by just one point. On an individual level, Ahmed won his rounds on opening statements and cross-examination.

At MBL, our law clerks are immersed in real insurance defense litigation. They research, write, observe depositions and trials, and work closely with attorneys who are invested in mentorship and growth. Seeing our clerks succeed at the national level among some of the best is a proud moment.

As we look ahead, we’re now recruiting for summer law clerks who want meaningful experience, strong mentorship, and real exposure to insurance defense litigation.

If you’re ready to learn by doing, we’d love to connect.
