Rita Alsabagh’s practice centers on the defense of insurance companies, self-insured corporations, and businesses across a broad range of matters. Her experience includes First-party auto No-Fault (PIP) litigation, Third-party auto negligence claims, insurance coverage disputes, and representation of insurers in Michigan Assigned Claims Plan (MACP) Servicing Insurer Defense and Subrogation actions.
Before transitioning to civil defense, Rita served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit, where she handled misdemeanor and felony cases through all stages of litigation. She conducted preliminary examinations, motion and pre-trial hearings, plea and sentencing proceedings, and assisted in both jury and bench trials. Her role also involved negotiating plea agreements and working closely with victims, witnesses, and law enforcement.
Rita’s background also includes experience as an associate at a high-volume litigation practice focused on collections and auto replevin.
Rita brings a strong litigation foundation, strategic problem-solving skills, and a commitment to effective advocacy to every matter she handles.
