MBL Co-Managing Partner Frederick Livingston and Executive Partner Nadine Hammoud recently obtained a No-Cause following a six-day jury trial involving hundreds of thousands in medical expenses and over $150,000 in attendant care benefits.
Despite five years of treatment and the plaintiff undergoing four surgeries, the jury returned a verdict of no injury.
MBL’s defense was grounded in the position that the claimed injuries and treatments were unrelated to the accident. Further, the attendant care services were unfounded and fraudulent. After hearing all the evidence, the jury agreed.
We’re proud of the work our team did to challenge the claims and present a clear, evidence-based case to the jury. This verdict sends a strong message about the importance of credible proof and honest claims in our legal system
