James L. Frisch III
Associate
James Frisch represents insurance companies, self-insured corporations, and businesses in various civil litigation, including first-party auto No-Fault (PIP), third-party auto negligence, insurance coverage disputes, Michigan Assigned Claims Plan (MACP) Servicing Insurer Defense, and MACP Servicing Insurer Subrogation.
With legal experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants — as well as in-house staff counsel at a major insurance company — James brings a well-rounded perspective to evaluating claims, anticipating opposing strategies, and developing effective defenses. He has defended physicians, hospitals, urgent care centers, senior living facilities, and other healthcare providers against professional liability claims. His experience also includes analyzing insurance claims for compliance with applicable laws and regulations and identifying available coverage and liability defenses.
James works closely with clients to understand their objectives, assess potential exposure, and pursue efficient strategies tailored to each case.
