Emma Callihan specializes in defending insurance companies, self-insured corporations, and businesses across a range of civil litigation matters. Her expertise includes First-party auto No-Fault (PIP) claims, Third-party auto negligence cases, insurance coverage disputes, as well as representing clients in Michigan Assigned Claims Plan (MACP) Servicing Insurer Defense and Subrogation.

Her experience also includes serving as a law clerk at the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., providing first-line review of sensitive documents in response to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. She also served as a Diversity in Leadership Fellow at the Law and Leadership Institute in Toledo, Ohio, where she coached the 2021 LLI Ohio Moot Court first-place winners, taught high school seniors from underserved communities about all aspects of a Fourth Amendment moot court fact pattern, and participated in multiple state-wide forums to discuss cultural competency, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, and expanding diversity in the legal profession.
