MBL congratulates Partner Robert Abramson on his recent legal victory, successfully securing the dismissal of all PIP benefits and defeating a motion for summary disposition filed by a co-defendant.

The co-defendant in the case sought to rescind the insurance policy and extend the rescission to an innocent third party, which would have had significant implications for coverage. However, Abramson argued that the court was bound by the recently published VHS of Michigan v. MAIPF, Docket No. 368755 (January 27, 2025) decision. The Judge agreed to reject the co-defendant’s motion and uphold the established precedent.
