McDonald Baas & Livingston, PLLC (MBL) is pleased to announce two successful Motions for Summary Disposition in favor of MBL insurance clients, led by Partner Elizabeth Spiridon.
In the first, the Oakland County Circuit Court granted a motion for partial summary disposition, dismissing over $30,000 in medical claims related to Trigger Point Impedance Imaging (TPII) that the court found was outside the scope of chiropractic care and lacked established medical efficacy.
In the second, the Oakland County Circuit Court granted a motion for summary disposition in favor of an MBL client, dismissing Plaintiff’s total bill of over $47,000. The basis of dismissal was lack of causation and fraudulent billing for services that were not rendered.
